Senior AWS Infrastructure .Net Application Engineer

N-iX is a global software development company partnering with a leading European online car marketplace to enhance their Collateral Management Solution platform. We are seeking a Senior AWS Infrastructure and .NET Application Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of infrastructure evolution, legacy application migration, and security remediation within a high-scale production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provision and manage AWS resources using Infrastructure as Code while ensuring reliability and observability.
• Lead the migration of legacy Windows-based applications, including VB/VB6, IIS services, and WCF services, to modern server environments.
• Execute production cutovers, validation, and rollback procedures for critical system updates.
• Remediate security and code quality findings identified via SonarQube, focusing on data masking and tokenization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on technical scope and ensure smooth knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in infrastructure and application engineering within AWS and Windows Server environments.
• Strong proficiency in managing AWS resources via Terraform and Git-based workflows.
• Deep expertise in Windows Server administration, including IIS, service accounts, and complex networking configurations.
• Proven experience with .NET Framework, SQL Server, and legacy application maintenance.
• Solid understanding of secure data handling, PCI requirements, and automated testing disciplines.
• Upper-Intermediate (B2) level of English proficiency.
