Senior AWS Infrastructure .Net Application Engineer

N-iX is a global software development company partnering with a leading European online car marketplace to enhance their Collateral Management Solution platform. We are seeking a Senior AWS Infrastructure & .NET Application Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of infrastructure evolution, legacy application migration, and security remediation within a high-scale production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provision and manage AWS resources using Infrastructure as Code while ensuring reliability, security, and observability.
• Assess and migrate legacy Windows-based applications, including VB/VB6, IIS-hosted services, and batch processes to updated server environments.
• Execute migration plans, functional validation, and production cutovers while maintaining system integrity.
• Remediate security and code quality findings from SonarQube, implementing robust file masking and data tokenization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on technical scope, validate changes, and ensure effective knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in infrastructure and application engineering within AWS and Windows Server environments.
• Strong proficiency in managing AWS infrastructure via Terraform and Git-based workflows.
• Deep expertise in Windows Server administration, including IIS, WCF services, and complex application migrations.
• Proven ability to work with .NET Framework and SQL Server, including legacy codebases and batch scheduling tools like Control-M.
• Solid understanding of secure data handling, PCI requirements, and automated testing disciplines.
• Upper-Intermediate (B2) level of English or higher.
