Senior Automation Software Tester, MSR team

Mirantis is seeking an experienced Senior Automation Software Tester to join the MSR4 product team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and security of our enterprise-grade container registry solution, which serves as a core component for secure software supply chains in cloud-native environments.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the overall QA strategy for Mirantis Secure Registry, aligning quality goals with business objectives.
• Architect test frameworks and infrastructure for validating microservices in multi-cluster environments.
• Develop scalable test automation integrated with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Mentor QA engineers and developers in advanced testing techniques, including chaos engineering and performance testing.
• Establish quality gates and release readiness metrics to ensure production-grade software delivery.

Requirements

• 10+ years in software testing, with 4+ years focused on Kubernetes, cloud-native applications, and distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals, Helm, service meshes, and network policies.
• Strong scripting and automation capabilities using Python, Pytest, and Bash.
• Solid grounding in cloud architecture, infrastructure provisioning, and containerized CI/CD.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and experience influencing cross-functional teams.
