Senior Atlassian Platform Engineer

We are currently seeking a Senior Atlassian Platform Engineer to join our international team of digital nomads and help maintain our critical internal infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Jira Server, Data Center, and Confluence environments.
• Configure workflows, permissions, dashboards, JQL, and automations to optimize platform usage.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure high platform reliability.
• Automate routine administrative tasks using ScriptRunner, REST API, and various scripting tools.
• Collaborate with SRE, infrastructure, and engineering teams to resolve system bottlenecks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Jira Server/Data Center and Confluence administration.
• Deep understanding of Jira architecture, including workflows, custom fields, and performance tuning.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot logs, indexing issues, and slow queries.
• Proficiency in scripting with Groovy, Python, or Bash for operational automation.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Russian.
