Fortrea is seeking a Senior Associate, Real World Data (RWD) Analyst to join our Consulting group. In this role, you will support our Real-world Evidence (RWE) services by delivering complex analyses of data generated from global observational studies and secondary data sources such as electronic health records, claims, and registries.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide programming for the analysis of RWD from diverse sources including observational studies and secondary data.
  • Develop analysis-ready datasets and derive analytic variables according to established analytic plans.
  • Independently create tables, figures, and listings (TFLs) from analytic datasets.
  • Validate analysis datasets and results, ensuring high quality and resolving discrepancies with minimal oversight.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of programming activities and provide status updates to biostatisticians and epidemiologists.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, epidemiology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in health research data analysis.
  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages such as SAS, R, or Python, with specific expertise in SAS macro language.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and ability to follow defined standard operating procedures.
