Senior Application Security Analyst

Svitla Systems is seeking a Senior Application Security Analyst to join a dynamic team supporting a major logistics and parcel delivery platform. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing application security practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive security automation and secure design across a growing technological ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Identify security threats and recommend robust controls to support business objectives.
• Define and continuously improve security baselines and control effectiveness across CI/CD pipelines and platforms.
• Lead threat modeling and secure design activities for key initiatives.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, advising engineering and product teams on secure coding and architecture.
• Develop training materials and mentor stakeholders to uplift the overall security posture.

Requirements

• 5 to 10+ years of experience in information security or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, CEH, OSCP, or GIAC.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD security, container security, Kubernetes, and cloud workload protection.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash and development languages such as Java, Node.js, or C#.
• Strong understanding of secure design, threat modeling, and modern software architecture.
