emagine Polska is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join the Soul team within Core Experience. You will play a pivotal role in building and evolving the messaging and social features that allow millions of users to connect through music, including chat functionality, friend activity, and profile management.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and data scientists to experiment, iterate, and deliver high-impact product objectives.
• Develop groundbreaking Android features that enhance social connectivity, ensuring seamless real-time synchronization within strict performance and battery constraints.
• Write clear, maintainable, and idiomatic Kotlin code that scales across distributed development teams.
• Drive performance improvements, testing, and tooling to ensure high-quality data and system reliability.
• Contribute to team processes and advocate for continuous improvement in development workflows.

Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional experience in Android development with a deep understanding of modern architecture and design patterns.
• Proven experience with agentic-first development and tools such as Claude and Cursor.
• Strong proficiency in writing readable, maintainable Kotlin code while adhering to established coding guidelines.
• Solid understanding of mobile-to-backend communication and real-time synchronization challenges.
• Commitment to building safe, privacy-focused experiences with a strong emphasis on moderation and abuse prevention.
