Senior Android Developer

Harvey Nash Technology is looking for a Senior Android Developer to join their team and contribute to the development of high-quality mobile applications. You will play a key role in building robust solutions using Kotlin Multiplatform and modern Android technologies in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize Android applications and Kotlin Multiplatform solutions.
• Integrate data and functionality through API interfaces in mobile applications.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and propose innovative solutions.
• Apply LLMs and agentic development workflows to support the software development lifecycle.
• Follow Google's Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Android development and Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Expert knowledge of Android SDK, architecture components, Jetpack libraries, MVVM, and Clean Architecture.
• Strong proficiency in Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and optimizing mobile apps in Java and Kotlin.
• Experience with Firebase configuration and familiarity with Git, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Professional level of English (minimum B2) and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
