Senior Android Developer

RemoDevs is seeking a Senior Android Developer to join a long-term project within the insurance sector. You will be responsible for developing and enhancing a modern mobile application, working within a mature Agile environment that prioritizes code quality, user experience, and engineering excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native Android applications.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, designers, and backend engineers to deliver new features.
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability through clean and testable code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decision-making processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues to maintain high levels of application stability.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of commercial experience in professional Android development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and modern Jetpack Compose development.
• Solid understanding of Android SDK, architecture components, and MVVM patterns.
• Experience with Coroutines, Flow, and asynchronous programming techniques.
• Proven ability to work effectively within Agile/Scrum teams with B2 level English.
