Senior Android Developer

Harvey Nash Technology is looking for a Senior Android Developer to join their team and contribute to the development of high-quality mobile applications using Kotlin Multiplatform. This role focuses on building robust solutions while leveraging modern development workflows and AI-driven tools to enhance the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize Android applications and Kotlin Multiplatform solutions.
• Integrate data and functionality through API interfaces in mobile applications.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and propose innovative solutions.
• Apply LLMs and agentic development workflows to support the SDLC process.
• Participate in code reviews and work effectively within an Agile environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Android development and Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Expert knowledge of Android SDK, architecture components, Jetpack libraries, MVVM, and Clean Architecture.
• Proficiency in Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and optimizing mobile apps in Java and Kotlin.
• Experience with Firebase configuration and familiarity with Git, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Professional level of English (minimum B2) and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
