Senior Android Developer

We are looking for contractors for the role:

Software Engineer (Android), remote
Rate: 130 - 155 pln/h (B2B contract via Harvey Nash)
Duration:long-term (1st contract ab. 6 months, then extensions)

End-clients: international logistics company
Process: 2-3 stages

Tasks:

• Mobile software development and design
  

• Refactor existing code

• Participate in code reviews and pair programming sessions
  

• Drive improvements within the team

• Mentor less experienced team members
  

• Analyze and understand user requirements and business objectives to effectively guide the development process
  

• Creating project documentation
  

• Ensure ongoing maintenance and support
  

• implement automated tests
  

Requirements:

• Few years of experience in Android / Kotlin development and design
  

• ​​​​​​​Experience in mobile applications design (mobile software architecture knowledge) - knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture and SOLID principles
  

• Some experience in Senior / Principal / Tech Lead role: conducting code reviews, mentoring, etc.
  

• Knowledge of CI/CD and  automation testing fundamentals

• ​​​​Understanding of UI/UX design principles
  

• Experience in complex mobile projects and in refactoring
  

• Fluent in English
