Senior Android Developer (Part-Time)

HigoSense is seeking an experienced Senior Android Developer to join our team on a part-time basis. You will play a key role in developing a companion application for a medical device, while also designing and maintaining Android SDK components used across multiple applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain robust Android applications and reusable SDK modules.
• Develop BLE integrations and device connectivity solutions for medical hardware.
• Lead the modernization of the application architecture, including migrating to Jetpack Compose.
• Drive the transition from RxJava to Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.
• Maintain high code quality standards, technical documentation, and testing strategies.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Android development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and experience with Gradle multi-module projects.
• Proven expertise in Android SDK design, software architecture, and BLE integration.
• Deep knowledge of Retrofit, OkHttp, Koin, and testing frameworks like JUnit and MockK.
• Fluency in English and the ability to work with high levels of independence.
