Senior Analytics Engineer - Databricks / BI

RemoDevs is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join a long-term initiative focused on delivering reliable data pipelines and executive-ready analytics for global enterprise brands. You will bridge the gap between backend cloud data platforms and front-end business intelligence, designing scalable solutions that turn raw data into actionable intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of reusable, analysis-ready datasets and models tailored for reporting and advanced analytics.
• Design and implement scalable ingestion and transformation pipelines using Alteryx, Databricks SQL, PySpark, and Azure services.
• Build and enhance interactive dashboards in Tableau and Power BI to translate business questions into actionable insights.
• Orchestrate and automate ETL and ELT workflows utilizing tools such as Databricks Workflows or Azure Data Factory.
• Own data modelling and metric definitions to ensure consistency across analytical assets and business KPIs.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in analytics engineering, cloud data platforms, and enterprise BI solutions.
• Strong proficiency with the Databricks platform, including Python, PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake.
• Demonstrated experience with Alteryx for automated ETL and data preparation workflows.
• Extensive experience developing interactive dashboards in Tableau or Power BI.
• Solid understanding of dimensional data modelling, semantic layers, and Git-based version control.
