Senior AI/ML Engineer with Databricks

P&P Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior AI/ML Engineer to join a long-term project for an international insurance client. You will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing intelligent document processing and AI-driven automation solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop robust data processing solutions using the Azure ecosystem.
• Build and optimize complex ETL/ELT pipelines leveraging Azure Databricks and Azure Synapse.
• Develop and deploy OCR-based solutions for automated document processing and data extraction.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and implement new AI-driven automation opportunities.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and promote DataOps best practices across the project.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Data Engineering with hands-on expertise in Azure Databricks and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Strong proficiency in Azure Cloud services, including Azure Data Lake and SQL Server technologies.
• Proven experience with OCR, Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), or Azure AI Document Intelligence.
• Solid background in Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and Data Mining.
• Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP), text analytics, and modern AI-assisted development practices.
