Senior AI/ML Data Architect – Cloud and Agent-based Systems

ITDS is seeking a Senior AI/ML Data Architect to join our team and lead the development of cutting-edge, AI-native cloud platforms tailored for the financial services industry. In this role, you will act as a hands-on technical leader, designing scalable distributed systems and crafting high-performance, production-grade solutions that integrate advanced AI capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop highly scalable, cloud-native platforms across major cloud providers like AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP.
• Architect distributed systems, APIs, event-driven services, and core platform components.
• Drive engineering excellence through clean architecture, rigorous testing, CI/CD pipelines, and operational best practices.
• Own systems end-to-end, from initial design through production deployment and ongoing operations.
• Collaborate with product teams and AI specialists to deliver robust, enterprise-grade software solutions.

Requirements

• Extensive software engineering experience with hands-on coding expertise in Python, Java, or Go.
• Deep experience in designing, building, and operating cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, resilience, performance optimization, and security.
• Proven track record of delivering high-reliability production systems using modern engineering practices.
• Excellent system design skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
