Senior AI Python Developer

ITDS is looking for experienced Senior, Principal, and Sr. Principal Software Engineers to join our team in building the next generation of AI-native cloud solutions for the financial sector. This role offers the opportunity to act as a hands-on technical leader, designing scalable architectures and developing high-performance, production-grade software in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop highly scalable, cloud-native platforms utilizing AWS infrastructure.
• Create robust distributed systems, APIs, event-driven services, and core platform components.
• Drive engineering excellence by implementing clean architecture, rigorous testing, and efficient CI/CD pipelines.
• Own systems end-to-end, from initial design and development to production deployment and ongoing operations.
• Mentor fellow engineers to promote technical excellence and share best practices across the team.

Requirements

• Extensive software engineering experience ranging from 8 to 15+ years depending on the seniority level.
• Hands-on coding expertise with Python and a deep understanding of modern software development practices.
• Proven experience in designing, building, and operating cloud-native applications on major cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, scalability, resilience, performance optimization, and security.
• Excellent system design skills combined with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
