Senior AI Platform Engineer (Remote | Portugal Based)

emagine Polska is seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer to join the Developer Experience team as a founding member of our Engineering Intelligence unit. You will architect foundational AI-native workflows, building the agentic frameworks and abstractions that redefine how our R&D organization interacts with codebases.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement complex AI-native workflows, including multi-agent systems and codebase-specific RAG.
• Define core constructs for Skills, Agents, and Commands to automate and reinvent the developer lifecycle.
• Integrate internal toolchains with the Model Context Protocol to create a unified, actionable context for AI agents.
• Develop telemetry and signals to track engineering health metrics and identify development bottlenecks.
• Lead Proof of Concepts and act as a technical consultant to drive the adoption of AI-native workflows across R&D teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on building scalable tools for developers.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in the AI/Agentic space, specifically with LLM orchestration and framework design.
• High proficiency in multiple languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Deep understanding of the Model Context Protocol, plugin architectures, and developer-facing tooling.
• Strong systems thinking skills with the ability to translate complex manual processes into automated constructs.
