Senior AI Infrastructure & Platform Operations Engineer (remote in the EU)

Mirantis is building a European AI Infrastructure & Platform Operations team dedicated to managing large-scale environments powered by NVIDIA GPUs, high-performance networking, and Kubernetes. As a Senior AI Infrastructure & Platform Operations Engineer, you will act as a technical leader, driving operational excellence and reliability across complex production systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the investigation and resolution of complex infrastructure, networking, and platform-related incidents.
• Act as a senior escalation point for operational teams during critical service-impacting events.
• Support large-scale NVIDIA GPU infrastructure and high-performance networking environments.
• Drive improvements in platform reliability, observability, monitoring, and operational processes.
• Mentor team members and develop operational standards, runbooks, and best practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure operations, SRE, or related technical roles.
• Expert-level Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong networking expertise and experience operating Kubernetes in production.
• Proven experience leading technical investigations and managing complex incidents.
• Strong understanding of observability, monitoring, and service reliability practices.
