Senior AI Engineer

Evertz is a global leader in hardware and software solutions for live television, film production, and streaming. We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join our team and drive the development of production-grade AI systems, ranging from hardware design validation and manufacturing automation to advanced audio and video processing.

Key responsibilities

• Own AI applications and reusable services end-to-end, including prototyping, integration, production deployment, and monitoring.
• Build agents, multimodal applications, LLM workflows, and RAG pipelines using prompt design, tool calling, and hybrid search.
• Transform complex data inputs such as schematics, test logs, and media into grounded AI capabilities.
• Integrate AI solutions with engineering and manufacturing systems via APIs, ensuring robust validation and security.
• Develop and operate Python services on Azure using PostgreSQL, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of delivering production LLM applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python and backend development, including API design and maintainable software practices.
• Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks, prompt design, and building tool-enabled agents.
• Practical knowledge of RAG, including embeddings, vector search, and retrieval quality measurement.
• Solid ML fundamentals with experience in data processing, model training, and deploying non-LLM models using PyTorch or scikit-learn.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically Azure, containers, and infrastructure as code.
