Senior AI Engineer

NEXA is seeking an experienced Senior AI Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on developing production-ready AI solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. This role is ideal for a professional who excels at combining advanced Python engineering with modern AI architectures to deliver scalable and maintainable software.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop production-ready AI solutions using Python and Microsoft Azure.
• Build and maintain backend services and production-grade REST APIs using frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Design and implement advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
• Develop and integrate cloud components using Azure Functions and Azure AI Foundry.
• Configure API management and implement robust application logging and monitoring via Azure Log Analytics.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software engineering with strong commercial Python expertise.
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing production-grade REST APIs.
• Proven track record of working with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure AI Foundry.
• Practical experience in designing and implementing RAG solutions.
• Proficiency in using Git for version control and collaborative development.
