Senior AI Engineer

Entrada AI is a specialized consulting partner and a strategic portfolio company of Databricks Ventures, recognized for deploying advanced AI solutions at enterprise scale. We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join our team of industry veterans to design, build, and deploy scalable AI systems that solve complex business challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Developing coordinator hardening, critic agents, and robust guardrails for AI systems.
• Designing chunking strategies and managing the chunk-metadata contract.
• Implementing attribute-filter injection to enforce entitlement at the retrieval stage.
• Managing hybrid routing across vector, graph, and SQL paths.

Requirements

• Proven experience in production RAG at scale, including evaluation harnesses and regression gating.
• Expertise in Graph RAG, including entity extraction, graph construction, and graph-aware retrieval.
• Advanced Python proficiency with a focus on async, typing, packaging, and test discipline.
• Experience with GCP Vertex AI, Agent Engine, or equivalent frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of retrieval evaluation techniques such as LLM-as-judge and hallucination rate monitoring.
• Solid understanding of Terraform and SDLC practices.
