Senior Accountant

Daymark Health is a value-based oncology company dedicated to redefining the cancer care experience through a comprehensive, personalized platform. We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team and support our mission as we scale into new markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage key components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP and assist in analyzing results to identify variances.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger across multiple entities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Support the design and continuous improvement of accounting policies, internal controls, and operational processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Clinical departments, to ensure accurate accounting treatment of business activities.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong foundation in general ledger accounting and month-end close procedures.
• Solid working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and the ability to apply these principles to complex, real-world transactions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Analytical mindset with a passion for building and improving accounting processes rather than just executing them.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining financial concepts to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
