Senior Accountant

saas.group is a dynamic, global portfolio powerhouse dedicated to acquiring and scaling promising B2B SaaS ventures. We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Central Finance Team and play a pivotal role in managing the accounting, controlling, and legal functions for our growing group of international entities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of accounting including billing, general ledger, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and revenue recognition.
• Maintain general ledger reconciliations and ensure adequate documentation for all balance sheet accounts.
• Manage financial reporting, analysis, and commentary for your portfolio while supporting consolidation and monthly group reporting.
• Execute annual financial statements and audits, and prepare filings for VAT, sales tax, and GST returns.
• Collaborate with external accountants, tax advisors, and auditors to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with NetSuite.
• Proven experience running multi-GAAP accounting for legal entities, including statutory account requirements.
• Strong AI literacy with practical experience using AI tools and LLMs to automate and improve accounting workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or a similar qualification with at least 5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Prior work experience within a SaaS or software company environment.
