Senior Accountant

CoinsPaid is a leading fintech company building blockchain payment infrastructure for the global economy. We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our remote-first team and provide full-cycle accounting and reporting support for an international portfolio of legal entities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full-cycle accounting and reporting support while acting as the primary point of contact for external bookkeepers, auditors, and corporate service providers.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Review monthly reporting packages, including trial balances, Balance Sheets, and Profit and Loss statements, while utilizing AI tools to analyze data and identify inconsistencies.
• Perform and oversee complex reconciliations, including bank, crypto, intercompany, AP, and AR accounts.
• Establish or restore accounting frameworks and internal controls for entities where records require improvement or development.
• Support statutory and group audits by preparing necessary documentation and coordinating with external auditors.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of AI-assisted accounting and crypto-accounting processes to enhance automation.

Requirements

• Relevant education in accounting, finance, or economics with proven experience in full-cycle accounting and financial closing.
• Strong proficiency in performing balance-sheet, bank, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Demonstrated ability to establish accounting processes from scratch and manage multiple legal entities independently.
• Experience in coordinating outsourced accounting providers and managing external audit requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills and a high level of attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Professional proficiency in English and a willingness to learn crypto-specific accounting and AI-driven automation tools.
