Senior Account Director, Healthcare

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Account Director to lead our Healthcare team and drive impactful communication strategies for our diverse portfolio of pharmaceutical and healthcare clients.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing high-level strategic counsel and building long-term partnerships.
• Lead and mentor account teams, fostering a collaborative environment while overseeing the execution of comprehensive PR campaigns.
• Develop innovative strategies that align with client business objectives and ensure measurable results.
• Manage client budgets, resources, and staffing requirements to ensure operational efficiency and project success.
• Contribute to new business initiatives, including the development of proposals and pitches for prospective clients.

Requirements

• Minimum of 12 years of PR experience, with a significant background in an agency setting.
• At least 7 years of experience in a team leadership role, including budget management and staff development.
• Deep understanding of the healthcare and pharmaceutical media landscape, including relevant FDA regulations.
• Proven track record of securing top-tier media coverage and maintaining strong relationships with key industry journalists.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and coach C-suite executives.
