Security Specialist - Penetration Tester

thyssenkrupp Group Services Gdańsk is the driving force behind global IT and business operations for the thyssenkrupp group. We are currently seeking a skilled Security Specialist to join our team as a Penetration Tester, helping us secure our infrastructure and applications on a global scale.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and investigate security vulnerabilities across various thyssenkrupp systems.
• Collaborate with clients to define specific testing requirements and project scopes.
• Develop and refine penetration testing methodologies, scripts, and automated tests.
• Support vulnerability management initiatives and contribute to broader security-related projects.
• Produce detailed reports and actionable recommendations based on security findings.
• Mentor and provide technical support to less experienced team members.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in web application and infrastructure penetration testing.
• Proven track record in red teaming, source code review, and deep knowledge of the OWASP Testing Guide.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, Wireshark, and Bettercap.
• Strong scripting capabilities in languages like Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Professional proficiency in English, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
