Security Platform Engineer

Sporty Group is seeking a dedicated Security Platform Engineer to strengthen our security monitoring and detection capabilities. You will play a vital role in managing, tuning, and continuously improving our EDR and SIEM platforms to ensure accurate, actionable security visibility across our global infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and monitor enterprise EDR and SIEM environments.
• Tune detection rules and correlation logic to improve alert quality and reduce false positives.
• Configure endpoint policies, manage agent health, and oversee log collection integrations.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and security use cases to enhance threat visibility.
• Collaborate with IT and Infrastructure teams to onboard new systems and improve monitoring coverage.

Requirements

• Proven experience administering enterprise SIEM, XDR, or EDR platforms such as Wazuh, Microsoft Sentinel, or Splunk.
• Strong technical understanding of endpoint security, Windows, Linux, macOS, and cloud environments.
• Experience in tuning detection rules and analyzing security events.
• Proficiency in automation or scripting using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework and common attacker techniques.
