Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Engineer

TechBiz Global is a leading recruitment and software development company with a globally distributed team. We are currently seeking a highly skilled SIEM Engineer to join our team for a project focused on the design, deployment, and management of advanced security monitoring solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and configure SIEM solutions including Elastic Stack, QRadar, Splunk, and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Integrate diverse log sources such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network devices into the SIEM platform.
• Develop and fine-tune correlation rules, dashboards, and alerts to ensure proactive threat detection.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintain the overall health and performance of the SIEM environment.
• Monitor and analyze system logs to identify anomalies, potential threats, or suspicious activities.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of professional experience in SIEM engineering and administration roles.
• Proven expertise with platforms like QRadar, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, and the Elastic Stack.
• Strong scripting abilities in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation tasks.
• Solid understanding of security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or CIS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
