Security Engineer with Agent Authorization

DataArt is seeking a skilled Security Engineer to join a project focused on building a secure AI platform. You will play a critical role in designing and maintaining robust security controls for agent operations, ensuring controlled tool access, and managing complex identity and authorization workflows within an evolving AI ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain authorization systems for API and tool access.
• Manage credential storage and secret rotation patterns for various target systems.
• Validate agent identity and support cross-agent authentication and service-to-service trust models.
• Improve observability and tracing for agent workflows and tool invocation activity.
• Enforce gateway controls to prevent unauthorized tool access and maintain comprehensive audit logs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of security engineering experience specifically within AI, ML, or agent-based platforms.
• Proven experience implementing authorization systems and managing credential rotation patterns.
• Strong knowledge of Cedar policy engine, OAuth tokens, API keys, and IAM roles.
• Experience with agent workflow observability, tracing, and audit logging.
• Ability to validate JWTs and support secure service-to-service communication.
