Security Engineer - SecOps & Cloud

Swapcard is the leading AI-powered event platform dedicated to driving revenue growth and fostering meaningful connections. We are looking for a Security Engineer to join our fully remote team and help us maintain a secure environment for our global community of event organizers and participants.

Key responsibilities

• Improve AWS security configurations including IAM, GuardDuty, and CloudTrail.
• Manage and maintain essential security tools such as EDR, MDM, and DLP.
• Coordinate with IT to ensure all endpoints follow established security baselines.
• Review and respond to SOC provider alerts while managing incident remediation.
• Perform vulnerability management and coordinate patching efforts with DevOps.
• Improve WAF rules and application-layer defenses to protect our infrastructure.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Security Engineering, SecOps, or Cloud Security.
• Hands-on experience with AWS security configuration and monitoring.
• Familiarity with EDR, MDM, DLP, and identity management systems.
• Experience managing and troubleshooting security agents on endpoints.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management and incident investigation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with IT, DevOps, and compliance teams.
