Scrum Master (Junior / Regular)

AvaFin is a dynamically growing international fintech company that prioritizes testing, learning, and adapting over rigid textbook solutions. We are looking for a Scrum Master to join our team and help us refine our processes while working in a collaborative, flat-structured environment.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitating planning sessions, retrospectives, and day-to-day coordination across various initiatives.
• Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure alignment.
• Identifying blockers early and actively working with the team to resolve them effectively.
• Supporting teams in understanding and improving their own ways of working.
• Developing and testing new methodologies to enhance team performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role focused on process improvement.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and the Waterfall approach, including their limitations.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and a focus on incremental improvement.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
• Very good command of English for daily international collaboration.
