Scala developer

EXANTE is a dynamic wealth tech company providing centralized trading solutions and robust financial infrastructure. We are currently seeking a skilled Scala Developer to join our global team and contribute to the evolution of our proprietary trading platform, which offers access to over one million financial instruments.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain our extensive microservices-based codebase.
• Develop external connection points for the trading system, including backend interfaces, HTTP APIs, and FIX APIs.
• Optimize and modify existing infrastructure architecture to enhance system productivity and simplify long-term maintenance.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in Scala development.
• Strong knowledge of JVM multithreading models, including blocking, CAS, Future/Promise, and Actors.
• Solid understanding of functional programming principles such as recursion, laziness, and pure functions.
• Proficiency with the Akka library ecosystem, including akka-http, akka-streams, and the actor model.
• Experience with SQL databases and a strong commitment to writing high-quality, testable code.
• Ability to work independently and take full responsibility for assigned tasks.
