SAP SD/MM Functional Consultant

Experis Manpower Group is seeking an experienced SAP SD/MM Functional Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering automated tax determination logic within SAP S/4HANA, ensuring seamless integration across SD, MM, and FI modules.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements to design and deliver automated tax determination logic within SAP S/4HANA using condition techniques.
• Configure and maintain interfaces between SAP and external tax engines like ONESOURCE or Sovos for real-time calculations.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT to translate complex tax laws into functional specifications.
• Lead end-to-end testing processes, including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
• Resolve complex production issues related to tax calculations and e-invoice submissions in high-volume environments.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on implementation experience, including at least two full project lifecycles as an SAP SD/MM consultant.
• Expert knowledge of SAP Indirect Tax setup with deep experience in complex EU tax rules within large multinational environments.
• Strong ABAP debugging skills to troubleshoot complex tax calculation and interface issues.
• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential for this position.
