SAP SD & EDI Consultant - Order-to-Invoice, EDIFACT (h/f)

emagine is seeking an experienced SAP SD and EDI specialist to join a global team focused on driving B2B connectivity and supporting critical SAP S/4HANA migration initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact digital transformation projects with significant autonomy and direct exposure to international business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver new B2B customer EDI connections on the current ECC6 platform to ensure seamless order-to-invoice processes.
• Support and finalize electronic order and invoice connections as part of an ongoing global EDI rollout program.
• Contribute to the EDI workstream of an S/4HANA migration project, ensuring technical alignment and functional success.
• Perform detailed functional analysis and mapping design while collaborating closely with technical developers.
• Act as a primary liaison between internal business teams and external customer technical contacts to resolve integration challenges.

Requirements

• 5-10+ years of experience in SAP SD, with deep knowledge of end-to-end order management and invoicing processes.
• Strong functional expertise in EDI, including EDIFACT messaging, IDocs, and B2B connectivity mapping.
• Hands-on experience with EDI platforms or VANs such as Elemica.
• Proven experience working across both SAP ECC6 and S/4HANA landscapes, ideally including migration support.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical mapping specifications.
