SAP Funds Management/General Ledger Functional Consultant

CSCI Consulting is seeking a highly skilled SAP Funds Management/General Ledger Functional Consultant to support a large-scale client in the logistics and financial management sector. This role focuses on delivering robust SAP S/4HANA financial solutions within a Scaled Agile Framework environment, ensuring that complex mission requirements are met through expert system design, configuration, and continuous operational improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and configure SAP Funds Management and General Ledger solutions to address complex business and mission-critical requirements.
• Support seamless integration between SAP FM/GL and other modules, including Financial Accounting, Controlling, Transportation Management, and Asset Accounting.
• Gather, document, and translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and system-configuration documents.
• Provide Tier II and Tier III support for reported incidents, troubleshooting functional and integration issues to ensure system stability.
• Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies, solution reviews, and walkthroughs to validate designs and ensure project delivery alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience with at least eight years of experience in SAP implementations, operations, or maintenance.
• Strong, demonstrated experience in configuring SAP Funds Management and General Ledger functionality.
• Proven ability to document business requirements, develop functional specifications, and maintain accurate system documentation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts and proposed solutions to diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to obtain a Federal Secret security clearance.
