SAP Finance Inhouse Consultant

thyssenkrupp Group Services Gdańsk is a global competence and development center delivering business processes and services to the international thyssenkrupp group. We are currently seeking an SAP Finance Inhouse Consultant to join our team and contribute to the development and optimization of our financial systems.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze SAP system issues and turn challenges into effective, long-term solutions together with the IT team for our internal clients.
• Develop and enhance applications in SAP Finance (FI/CO/FSCM) to support business needs.
• Drive change requests from concept to delivery while maintaining clear and up-to-date documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and provide hands-on support during go-live activities.
• Collaborate closely with SAP Basis and audit teams to keep operations stable and efficient.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Fluent communication skills in both German and English.
• Solid understanding of finance-related fields, specifically the interaction between internal and external accounting.
• Practical experience in SAP FI/CO/FSCM Customizing or Key-User roles (ECC or S/4).
• Basic knowledge in reading ABAP code, with SAP PS/IM and S/4 HANA skills considered a strong asset.
