SAP Consultant (Application Engineer)

We are currently seeking an experienced SAP Consultant (Application Engineer) to join our Technology Platform team and play a pivotal role in the implementation, development, and long-term maintenance of our SAP environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting the implementation of SAP as the company’s general ledger system.
• Translating complex accounting, controlling, and procurement requirements into effective SAP configurations.
• Collaborating with external implementation partners to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions that meet business needs.
• Managing data migration, system integrations, and financial data flows between SAP and other internal platforms.
• Taking full ownership of assigned SAP modules, identifying potential risks, and proposing proactive solutions.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in SAP financial systems, specifically regarding general ledger functionality.
• Proven hands-on experience in full-cycle SAP implementation within an organization.
• Practical understanding of accounting and controlling processes, including chart of accounts and configuration.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical system solutions.
• Strong communication skills to effectively work with demanding stakeholders in Finance and Accounting.
