SAP CAP Developer with German

We are currently looking for an experienced SAP CAP Developer to join an international support team delivering enterprise SAP solutions for a leading company in the energy sector. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a long-term project supporting modern SAP applications in a dynamic, multilingual environment.

• Project length: July 2026 – December 2026 with the possibility of extension

• Workload: Full-time during the first 3 months, followed by approximately 0.5 FTE (0.5 FTE candidates will also be considered)

• Candidates must be located in the European Union and hold a valid work and residence permit in their country of residence

• Start date: ASAP

Project scope:

• Provide application support and resolve tickets related to SAP CAP-based solutions

• Maintain and enhance applications developed in the SAP CAP Java environment

• Develop and support front-end applications using SAPUI5 and/or Angular

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues while ensuring high service quality

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and support teams in an international environment

• Participate in client meetings during standard business hours when required

• Contribute to application improvements, system stability, and ongoing maintenance activities

• Create and maintain technical documentation and share knowledge within the project team

Competence demands:

• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience with SAP CAP (Java environment)

• Hands-on experience with SAPUI5 and/or Angular

• Experience providing application support and working with ticket-based environments

• Good understanding of SAP application architecture and development principles

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with international teams

• Fluent German (minimum C1)

• Fluent English (minimum C1)

Nice to have:

• Experience in the energy sector

• Experience supporting enterprise SAP landscapes

• Previous experience working in international support projects
