Role Overview

The SaaS Platform Engineer is responsible for the technical operation, configuration, governance, integration, and continuous evolution of business-critical SaaS solutions within a large enterprise environment.

This is a hands-on administration role that combines platform ownership, technical consulting, solution design, and automation to ensure scalable, secure, and business-aligned platform services.

You will act as the primary technical expert for a portfolio of enterprise SaaS platforms, supporting business stakeholders with onboarding, adoption, governance, integrations, troubleshooting, and platform optimization.

It is a role for individuals who enjoy owning platforms end-to-end - from configuration and governance, through automation and integration, to day-to-day operational support - while staying close to emerging SaaS and AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Own, administer, and continuously improve a portfolio of enterprise SaaS platforms, including Miro, Synthesia, Slack, UserTesting, and rapid AI prototyping platforms (e.g. v0, Lovable, Framer, Figma Make)

• Manage platform configurations, permissions, user administration, workflows, templates, and security settings

• Consult on platform governance, compliance, data protection, and operational processes

• Analyse and resolve platform-related incidents, technical issues, and user requests

• Manage platform lifecycles, upgrades, feature releases, and vendor roadmaps

• Define and implement platform standards, best practices, and adoption guidelines

• Design, build, and maintain lightweight integrations and automations

• Connect SaaS platforms with enterprise systems using APIs and automation frameworks

Requirements

• JavaScript, RESTful API, and API Security

• Hands-on experience with Miro

• Solid understanding of Agile processes and methodologies

• Proven experience administering enterprise SaaS platforms, including user management, permissions, and governance

• Ability to troubleshoot platform issues independently and build lightweight scripts, automations, and integrations (REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, Low-Code/No-Code)

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-powered SaaS products, collaboration/innovation platforms, and Power BI or other BI tools

• Familiarity with large enterprise environments and SaaS governance, security, and vendor management

• Additional skills: TypeScript, Scala, Figma, Solution Design, Application Development & Operations, Consultancy
