Romania - Cloud Operations / Platform

emagine is a high-end consultancy firm delivering tailored services and expertise through a global network of expert consultants. We are currently looking for a Cloud / Platform Operations Engineer to join our network and support international projects, focusing on operating and scaling production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, scale, and secure AWS-based production platforms including ECS Fargate and AWS Batch.
• Manage secure access using IAM roles, policies, and permission boundaries.
• Operate and support Windows Server environments and Microsoft Active Directory at scale.
• Participate in on-call rotations, incident handling, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate closely with application, data, and infrastructure teams.

Requirements

• Strong general AWS knowledge, including networking, security, monitoring, and cost awareness.
• Hands-on experience with ECS Fargate, AWS Batch, and IAM best practices.
• Operational experience with Windows Server environments and Microsoft Active Directory.
• Proven experience supporting production systems and handling incidents.
• Strong English communication skills for international collaboration.
