Roaming Business Expert – Tieto Tech Consulting (m/f/d)

Tieto Tech Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Roaming Business Expert to join our dedicated Telecom Team supporting our client, BICS. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a global telecommunication enabler, managing commercial interests and roaming negotiations on an international scale.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the commercial interests of customers in international roaming negotiations with mobile network operators.
• Lead bilateral and multilateral negotiations to secure optimal Inter-Operator Tariff (IOT) terms.
• Perform financial reconciliations, manage settlement reports, and support monthly financial closing activities.
• Analyze roaming traffic, cost trends, and partner performance to develop effective commercial strategies.
• Ensure all agreements comply with GSMA standards, regulatory frameworks, and internal governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of professional experience in roaming, wholesale, or telecom commercial roles.
• Proven track record in negotiating IOT agreements or managing complex roaming partnerships.
• Fluency in English with strong communication and presentation skills.
• A proactive, growth-oriented mindset with the ability to build trust across diverse international teams.
