RF / Antenna Engineer (Poland)

HiQo Solutions, Inc. is seeking a motivated and skilled RF / Antenna Engineer to join our team for a wide range of client projects. You will work at the intersection of electromagnetism, PCB design, and mechanical integration, turning complex requirements into functional antennas and RF solutions that perform reliably in finished products.

Key responsibilities

• Designing transmission lines, matching networks, and filters for various RF projects.
• Building prototypes, test fixtures, and preparing samples for detailed measurement.
• Measuring S-parameters, impedance, power, harmonics, and spurious emissions using VNA and spectrum analyzers.
• Designing and modeling antennas and RF structures in EM solvers, including parametric sweeps and optimization.
• Probing boards with near-field probes to localize EMC interference sources and proposing concrete technical fixes.
• Writing comprehensive measurement reports, review findings, and actionable recommendations.

Requirements

• Solid knowledge of RF and antenna fundamentals, including electromagnetic waves and propagation.
• Good knowledge of analog and high-speed digital electronics.
• Solid experience with transmission lines, impedance matching, and confident use of the Smith chart.
• Hands-on experience with full-3D EM simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, or similar.
• Practical and wide experience with VNA and spectrum analyzer equipment.
