Research Intern

Ritual is building a sovereign execution layer for AI, creating the first blockchain custom-built to support AI-native operations. We are looking for a Research Intern to join our team and contribute to the development of our infrastructure at the intersection of cryptography and machine learning.

Key responsibilities

• Prototype new mechanisms and work to productionize your research findings.
• Explore the frontier of modern cryptographic schemes and open-source AI technologies.
• Collaborate closely with our engineering and product teams to ensure your research has a tangible, real-world impact.
• Release your work into the open-source ecosystem and build alongside the Ritual community.

Requirements

• Intellectual curiosity regarding the latest advancements in machine learning, cryptography, and their intersection.
• A strong desire to see research go beyond academic papers and translate into practical applications.
• Experience taking research projects or experiments from ideation to prototype code or implementation.
• Ability to maintain quick iteration and development cycles on writing and proof-of-concept tasks.
• Comfort with algebraic structures, distributed systems, mechanism design, or statistical modeling.
