Research Analyst

SFORS is a leading proprietary trading firm with 20 years of experience in global financial markets. We are currently seeking a Research Analyst to join our Trading Research & Development team to support our quantitative processes and market analysis efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor US market news, earnings reports, and macroeconomic events to identify significant market drivers.
• Analyze complex data to separate signal from noise and identify recurring patterns or sector rotations.
• Document market reactions and build a structured knowledge base by comparing current events with historical data.
• Transform raw information into clear analytics, dashboards, and internal reports to share insights across the company.
• Develop and optimize analytical processes to improve the speed and efficiency of information gathering.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience in trading, financial analysis, macroeconomic research, or quantitative analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, with a specific focus on US equities.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and analytical tasks.
• Professional fluency in both English and Ukrainian.
• Strong analytical thinking, self-organization, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
