Remote U.S. Logistics Operations Coordinator & Route Planner (B2B Contract)

Crown Paper Converting, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of industrial packaging products based in California, currently seeking a highly efficient Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this fully remote role, you will act as the digital air traffic controller for our warehouse, managing logistics, routing, and communication to ensure seamless operations during U.S. business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and sequence daily local delivery routes for company-owned trucks to ensure timely freight distribution.
• Source and negotiate rates with third-party carriers and freight brokers, including the issuance of purchase orders.
• Coordinate inbound logistics for raw material deliveries and manage schedules for customer will-call pickups.
• Provide remote guidance to warehouse forklift operators regarding safe and efficient truck loading procedures using visualization tools.

Requirements

• Proven experience in logistics, freight forwarding, 3PL dispatching, or load planning.
• Strong spatial awareness and mental math skills for space optimization and unit conversions.
• Professional proficiency in English, with the ability to negotiate rates and communicate clearly with onsite teams.
• Technical infrastructure including dual monitors and redundant internet connections to ensure operational stability.
• Reliability and commitment to working the required shift from 17:30 to 02:00 CET.
