Remote Software Engineer

Grupa OLX is looking for an AI-native Software Engineer to join our cross-functional teams in Motors, Real Estate, or Platforms. You will work within a large-scale tech environment, collaborating with engineers and product teams to build scalable solutions while leveraging AI to accelerate development and maintain high-quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute technically to projects, taking part in the planning, execution, and success of complex technical tasks.
• Use AI to accelerate delivery by delegating routine implementation, generating tests, and applying AI to debugging and refactoring.
• Establish credibility through the quality of your own and your team’s technical execution.
• Work closely with product management to ensure the delivery of high-impact products for our users.
• Brainstorm, ask questions, and take full ownership of the products you are building.

Requirements

• Solid experience in software development, with proficiency in Golang, Java, or Kotlin, and the ability to work with PHP.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis, and Memcached.
• Strong understanding of AWS and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• A "you build it, you run it, you own it" mindset, including full accountability for AI-generated output.
• Ability to maintain project-level AI context and demonstrate judgment on when to use or override AI tools.
