Remote Junior/Mid SQL Server Admin

Haddad Brands is seeking a talented Junior or Mid-level SQL Server Administrator to join our team. Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environments across development, testing, and production.
• Monitor and optimize database performance, including analyzing slow-running queries and improving index efficiency.
• Implement and manage high availability and disaster recovery solutions, such as Always On Availability Groups and backup strategies.
• Ensure database security by managing user access, permissions, and implementing encryption best practices.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell or T-SQL to streamline routine administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in SQL Server administration and database lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in high availability, disaster recovery, and backup/restore procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Experience with scripting for automation and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
