[REMOTE] Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and manage our data pipelines, ensuring that millions of daily user interactions are collected, cleaned, and aggregated for actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the health of the data pipeline and resolve performance issues to ensure reliability.
• Create and maintain intermediate tables in our data lake to simplify information consumption.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to improve the quality and accessibility of datasets.
• Optimize data ingestion processes to enhance cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Develop and support a semantic layer to facilitate AI-driven data analysis.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing large data lakes for extensive user bases, ideally in gaming or media.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL and the ability to identify and implement process improvements autonomously.
• Strong background in maintaining infrastructure for data collection, storage, and transformation.
• Excellent communication skills and a track record of success in remote work environments.
• High level of organization, attention to detail, and experience leveraging AI tools to boost productivity.
