This project focuses on enhancing AI capabilities in interpreting historical texts, analyzing complex belief systems, and providing accurate cultural and religious context to improve global religious literacy.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with advanced language models by posing complex questions regarding theology, religious history, and comparative religion.
• Evaluate model outputs for accuracy, neutrality, logical consistency, and potential biases in interpreting sacred texts.
• Document failure modes and provide structured feedback to refine model reasoning and cultural understanding.
• Identify instances where AI oversimplifies beliefs or presents inaccurate historical information.
• Articulate clear, metacognitive reasoning to help improve evaluation frameworks and prompt quality.

Requirements

• Strong familiarity with world religions, theology, religious history, or the philosophy of religion.
• Ability to provide clear, detailed communication and explain complex interpretive steps.
• Academic background in religious studies, history, anthropology, or related humanities is preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical skills and a keen interest in the intersection of technology and cultural studies.
