Release Manager / Scrum Master

Avenga is looking for an experienced Release Manager / Scrum Master to join an international project in the Pharma & Life Sciences sector. You will take ownership of the end-to-end software release and deployment process for a portfolio of data and web applications, including those operating within a GxP-regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the end-to-end release management process, ensuring GxP validation cycles are integrated.
• Develop release schedules, manage cross-application dependencies, and lead two parallel sprint cycles.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and coordinate activities across development, QA, validation, and business stakeholders.
• Manage change and release processes in ServiceNow and maintain scope and traceability in JIRA.
• Track project progress, risks, and blockers while collaborating closely with international stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience in release management within a regulated environment such as GxP, GMP, or medical devices.
• Solid project management background with expertise in planning, scheduling, and dependency management.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA for scope management and ServiceNow for change and release workflows.
• Strong Scrum facilitation skills with experience managing multiple parallel sprint cycles.
• C1-level English proficiency and excellent stakeholder management skills.
